Jessie and Zach decided to have a virtual Sundance Mountain Elopement. I had never even heard of a virtual elopement until 2020. Basically the couple met with an online officiant and had their families and close friends attend via Zoom. They rented this cute, little cabin up at Sundance Mountain Resort from AirBnb and wanted to commemorate their special day with some photos. Sundance is one of my all-time favorite locations in Utah and I am so lucky to only live 30 minutes from there. I love the beautiful views of Mount Timpanogos, the amazing restaurants and bars, and the wildlife you see there.

Jessie and Zach decided to have their Sundance Mountain Elopement at the end of March. I was so worried about the weather because there was a 100% chance of rain all day, which if you live in Utah, you know how rare that is! Instead, we got this (see below) amazing snow shower, which made these photos be such a mood! We wandered around the property for 90 minutes and took the coziest photos of their Sundance Mountain Elopement. I think we can all appreciate Jessie’s amazing combat boots that she paired with the cutest dress she got from Lulu’s (can you believe how great wedding dresses from the Internet are nowadays?) After we took photos, the couple headed out to an intimate dinner with plans to come back to their cabin to hot tub and enjoy the rest of their wedding day. They are planning on having a reception with more guests in their home state of New York once the pandemic has slowed.

The best part about eloping in Utah is that you can decide what YOU want the day to be like….how many guests you have, if you want to have a chill day at a rented cabin in Sundance, a 10 mile hike, or something in between.
