You might be wondering where the best places for Park City engagement photos are and I got you covered. I love living in Park City and have some great spots to highlight the beauty of the Wasatch back. All of the locations listed below are of course dog-friendly (dogs are always welcome with me!!) and typically aren’t too crowded 🙂
Guardsman’s Pass (aka Church of Dirt) is my favorite place to take engagement photos in Park City. This location is not only amazing because of the beautiful 360 degree mountain views, but also is a great place to watch the sun set. You can only access this location in the late spring through early fall because of the snow. This location is easy to get to from Salt Lake City as well because you can drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon to reach this location.
The Uintas is a massive national forest located in Kamas on Mirror Lake Highway. I love spending time here hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. You can access this area year round, however, the road closes after the 12 mile marker in the winter months. There are hardly ever people at the few spots I’ve been to 🙂 I’m really familiar with spots in this national forest for your engagement session with lots of variety!
I love taking photos here at the McPolin Barn, which is a historic farm, in the winter months because of the beautiful snowy mountains located behind the barn.
Of course I had to include downtown Park City in this list of 5 Best Places for Park City Engagement Photos! Downtown is so cute and looks great anytime of the year. There are so many unique shops and restaurants to explore as well.
If you are looking for an adventurous idea for your engagement session, what about skiing or snowboarding at Park City Mountain Resort in the winter? Or hiking there in the summer!
I hope this list gives you an idea of where to take your engagement photos in Park City. Please contact me with any questions or to schedule your session today 🙂
