Seward Alaska Elopement

Are you considering having a Seward, Alaska elopement and don’t know where to start? Seward is one of my favorite locations in Alaska. I actually lived there for a summer after I finished college so I am very familiar with the area and can help you not only photograph your Seward, Alaska elopement, I can help by giving you recommendations for places to elope and things to do in the area as well.

Seward boasts a beautiful seashore, is home to Kenai Fjords National Park filled with sea life, fjords, and glaciers, and has huge, jaw-dropping, snow-capped mountains. The town itself is super cute and quaint with restaurants and plenty of accommodations. The town sees a lot of cruise traffic and tourists during the summer season, which is pretty common throughout Alaska, but especially in Seward!

Kenai Fjords National Park

Kenai Fjords National Park is one of the prettiest national parks that I have been to and would make an amazing backdrop for your Seward, Alaska elopement. There are two main access points (maybe more if you use air transportation haha) into the park. You can drive to one area of the park from Seward, but to access most of the park, you will need a boat. There are a few companies in the area that will charter weddings. I have used Kenai Fjords Tours before and had a great experience with them. If you would rather drive to the park, you can drive to Exit Glacier. There are two hiking options to Exit Glacier – a longer hike and a shorter hike.

Seaside

Miller’s Landing offers a few different cabins to rent and have your wedding at with a range of guests and pricing options. They have a great view of the shore and seaside!

Seward is an overall great spot to elope 🙂 If you’re looking to hire an Alaska elopement photographer, I would love to help you out and capture your memorable day!
