Zion Adventure Engagement Photos

Are you thinking about doing Zion adventure engagement photos? Leesa and Jake knew exactly where they wanted to go for their engagement photos because this is the exact spot where they got engaged a few months earlier. This location in Zion National Park is definitely an adventure because it requires a short and gradual incline hike to get to this beautiful overlook. It is definitely one of my favorite locations within the park as it’s easily accessible and does not require the shuttle (added bonus)!

Normally when I bring couples here for their Zion adventure engagement photos, I’ll tell them to bring a pair of hiking shoes to wear on the hike to the overlook and then a pair of shoe(s) to change into once we are there. I’ve even had a bride hike this trail in a wedding dress!

This spot is called Canyon Overlook and in my it’s beautiful at sunrise and sunset. We got here right before the sun went down behind the gorgeous red rocks and we had amazing weather for this November evening. It wasn’t too crowded so we got to go to my favorite spot at the overlook. Lessa and Jake packed a change of clothes (they had one more “casual” outfit and one more “dressy” option, which is always encouraged). We had so much fun exploring and adventuring together!

I met Leesa because she was a bridesmaid at one of my previous bride, Madison’s, wedding back in October of 2020! It was so good to see her again and meet Jake. I am so excited for their summer wedding this year.
