Homer Alaska Elopement

Are you looking to have a Homer, Alaska elopement? You’ll want to look at Anna and Tyler’s August elopement for inspiration! After a very rainy summer in Alaska, it finally cleared up the week of their gorgeous elopement at Baycrest Lodge. They invited their immediate families including their 3 children, parents, siblings, and in-laws. When I first arrived, I felt so welcomed by their family. I did some detail photos of their cabin, dress, and beautiful flowers before Anna and Tyler’s first look. After their sweet first look, they wanted to go and take some photos of the two of them. We decided to do some photos at a trailhead and the rest of the photos on the Homer Spit. Afterwards, we returned to the lodge for their emotional ceremony surrounded by the people they care the most about 🙂

Why Elope in Homer, Alaska?

Homer, deemed the “Halibut Capital of the World” is only 4 hours south of Anchorage in the Kenai Peninsula. Homer would make a great basecamp for your elopement as there are a lot of accommodations in this little town in the summer months. There are great restaurants, hotels, fishing, and exploring in Homer and the surrounding area. It is one of my absolute favorite places in Alaska because I spent the summer of 2016 here working on a peony farm so it was one of my first introductions to The Last Frontier.

I will be living in Alaska during the summer of 2024 from May-September and won’t have travel fees during that time. So if you are looking to have a Homer, Alaska elopement please reach out 🙂
