Dreamy Park City Engagement Session

Join me for Kellsie & EJ’s dreamy Park City engagement session in the Wasatch Mountains. Kellsie & EJ wanted their engagement photos to reflect their love for the outdoors, so we chose a one of my favorite locations, Empire Pass, just outside of Park City. The glowy golden hour was absolutely stunning, the mountain peaks provided a breathtaking backdrop, and to make things even more special, they brought along their adorable pup for their Park City engagement session.

Bringing your dog to your engagement session is a great way to make your photos feel more personal and meaningful. If you’re thinking about including your furry friend in your session, here are a few helpful tips:

1. Choose a Pet-Friendly Location
Make sure your session location allows dogs and is a comfortable space for them. Many trails in the Wasatch Mountains are dog-friendly, but always check regulations beforehand.

2. Bring Treats & Toys
Having treats and a favorite toy on hand will help keep your pup engaged and looking toward the camera. Plus, rewards make for great motivation!

3. Pack Essentials
Don’t forget the basics: a leash, waste bags, and a water bowl to keep your dog comfortable during the session. A stylish leash or bandana can also be a cute touch!

4. Arrive Early for a Walk
Before the session, take your dog for a short walk to burn off some energy. A relaxed pup is more likely to cooperate during photos.

5. Have a Handler
Bringing a friend or family member to help with your dog can be a game-changer. This way, you can focus on your session while they handle your pup when needed.

Kellsie & EJ’s session was full of laughter, love, and plenty of tail wags from Milo. As the sun set behind the peaks, we captured the most romantic golden-hour portraits, ending their engagement session on the perfect note.

Are you dreaming of an engagement session in the Wasatch Mountains with your partner (and maybe your pup)? Let’s create something magical together!
