Big Cottonwood Canyon Elopement | Salt Lake City Photographer

Elena and MacLean were supposed to have a larger wedding back home in Boston, but decided to elope in Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah instead due to COVID-19. Their immediate families flew out to attend and families and friends from across the world watched on Zoom. I found this incredible ridge and suggested it to the couple. We met up at 5:30 in the morning in the parking lot and hiked up 1.5 miles to the spot where the couple changed from their hiking clothes into their wedding attire. They had a first look as the sun was coming up and Elena got her sister-in-law to do her hair. We took some photos before the officiant arrived to do the ceremony. As we were hiking down, we got some photos in an aspen grove and they switched back to their hiking clothes and enjoyed the rest of the day with their families. Would you like to have a Big Cottonwood Canyon elopement like these two did? I’m happy to help plan your elopement from getting permits to finding an officiant. Contact me to find out more.
