I thought that Paula and Eric were crazy when they told me they wanted to have a Big Cottonwood Canyon winter elopement, but it turns out they knew exactly what they were talking about! They decided to have their elopement in Big Cottonwood Canyon. I helped them scout out a great place for their limited guests. They wanted something that didn’t have too much snow and wasn’t too far up the canyon just in case the roads were bad that day. Luckily, it ended up being an absolutely beautiful day and the temps were in the mid-40s. They decided to have a micro wedding here in Utah after a canceled bigger wedding back in their home state of Texas. They decided to not see each other before the ceremony and I loved watching Eric’s reaction seeing Paula walk down the snowy aisle. They had a sweet ceremony followed by photos of the two of them.
They wanted to have a small party afterwards at The Azalea in South Jordan. I really loved their colors and bohemian vibe. I’m obsessed with the dried flowers and pampas grass trend right now! They got to do all of the traditions that they wanted just with a smaller guest list. I loved how intimate all their moments were.
“Courtney, These are so so SO beautiful! We are obsessed with them haha. Thank you so much for all your work, we couldn’t have picked anyone better to capture our day!” – Paula + Eric
