Big Cottonwood Canyon is one of my favorite locations for an engagement session. Located near Salt Lake City, Utah, it’s an awesome location for year-round photos. I love this location for many reasons:
Noelia and Mikey wanted snowy photos done so I knew Big Cottonwood Canyon would be the perfect spot for their engagement session. These two were down for literally anything including a snowball fight, wearing my snowshoes for a few photos, and Noelia climbing on Mikey’s shoulders 🙂 I love when couples trust my vision for a fun, relaxed, and unique photos!
Noelia climbed up onto Mikey’s shoulder for a few photos for their engagement session in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
I absolutely love using this cool prism that I bought last year to add a little something-something to photos.
When choosing what to wear for your engagement session in the snow, I think that warm, neutral (grays, beiges, blacks, greens, browns, etc), and bright colors work the best like what they wore for their day. To stay warm, I brought them some Hot Hands to warm their hands in between photos and Noelia wore her coat 🙂
I brought the snowshoes that my husband bought me for Christmas to their session to see if they wanted to put them on for a few shots and they agreed! It was their first time ever wearing snowshoes and they loved it.
