Heber City Winter Engagement Session

There is something so magical about a Heber City engagement session in the winter. Paige and Cason completely trusted me when choosing their location. They wanted something snowy, in Heber City, and with lots of pine trees, Paige’s favorite trees (she even has a tattoo of pine trees and mountains on her arm) 🙂 So, I chose this pretty location that is actually in my neighborhood. My husband and I love hiking at this particular spot and knew it would make for a great location for their adventurous winter engagement session.

We met at the bottom of my neighborhood and had them follow me up to the spot! I love getting to know couples over their engagement session. I think it helps couples feel more relaxed in front of the camera on their wedding day. Plus- we will be spending lots of time together on the day of!

We hiked a little bit to reach this beautiful spot in the pine trees for their Heber City winter engagement session. The snow was so stiff, Paige and I kept falling down hahaha. Luckily she was a good sport! 😉 Paige and Cason wanted to choose two outfits so they brought all of their extra clothes to change into in the woods. I loved getting to spend the afternoon with them and I cannot wait for their October wedding, which is going to be in this beautiful field in Heber City too!

We started taking photos at this beautiful spot! I also love the way the pine trees surrounding them made them look so tiny! I love incorporating nature into my photography

They did a quick change in the woods. My couples are seriously the best!

They actually brought a blanket with them as well, so we did a few cute photos of them sitting in the snow too 🙂 I love when couples bring props or things that represent them as a couple.
