I was lucky to get to travel to Miami, Florida for Victoria and Dalton’s engagement photos at Vizcaya Museum. We met up right before they opened at 9:30 am to beat the heat and the crowds. The light was so pretty at this time and I would love to come back to explore the area more because it was absolutely stunning. We had the most fun time walking around the gardens and I felt truly alive in the humid heat of Florida after spending over three months in the snow haha!
I first met Victoria and Dalton when I photographed their proposal in Zion National Park over a year prior. They loved their photos so much from then that they knew they wanted to hire me for their wedding and engagement photos in Miami! So, I escaped the cold for a few day and traveled down to Florida for their engagement session and wedding (along with her sister’s engagement photos as well!) I have absolutely adored and loved working with this super sweet couple and their family! Be on the lookout for their wedding day blog in the near future 😉
You will need to obtain a special photography pass to take photos here and I highly recommend spending the money on one because it was such a gorgeous place to take photos. As of March 2023, the pass costs $250 + tax on weekdays and $350 + tax on weekends. If you want to arrive early for a sunrise session, that is $450 + tax. I think that starting at 9:30 am was perfect. We went on a Friday and it wasn’t too busy and the lighting was perfect.
I love the classic look that this beautiful couple was going for for their session. If you like these Vizcaya Museum engagement photos, I will totally travel back to Miami to take yours 😉 Let’s get in touch!
