The Ultimate Moab Elopement started in Arches National Park for a sunrise hike and ended with a golden hour ceremony at Dead Horse Point State Park. Bailey and Olivia knew they didn’t want to have a big, “traditional” wedding filled with tons of guests and expectations. Instead, they wanted to go to a place they had never been to before to celebrate them getting married, which I totally get. They drove all the way from Wisconsin to Moab, Utah to have the ultimate Moab elopement. We met up super early at 4:30 am to hike to Delicate Arch, the most iconic landmark in Utah (it’s even on the license plates). Delicate Arch is located within Arches National Park. It was so pretty at sunrise and we got the best photos as the sun was coming up. After we hiked back down, we then went to Double Arch, which is another favorite spot of mine in Moab. I love just how BIG this arch is and it is really fun to take photos here. We took a break to avoid the heat because it was July in Moab, which tends to be 100+ degrees before meeting back up at Dead Horse Point State Park. During the break, Bailey and Olivia got legally married at the Grand County Courthouse so we didn’t have to have an officiant, witness, or permit for their day.

We met back up for their vows, pizza, and additional golden hour photos at Dead Horse Point. To our surprise, when we arrived it was cloudy and super windy with temperatures in the 70s (a welcome sight in Moab in the summer months). It was incredibly windy during their vows, but they were such troopers and didn’t complain at all.
