Seward Elopement

Lanru and Gary’s Seward elopement was a beautiful blend of cultural tradition, meaningful connection, and Alaska adventure. Surrounded by their closest friends, they chose to celebrate their wedding day in a way that felt intentional, intimate, and true to who they are.

The day began at a cozy cabin in Miller’s Landing, where Lanru and Gary got ready together with their friends. Nestled among the trees near the water, the cabin created a calm and relaxed atmosphere perfect for slowing down and savoring the morning. Laughter filled the space as final touches were made, setting the tone for a heartfelt day ahead.

Their ceremony took place on the beach at Lowell Point, one of Seward’s most scenic and peaceful coastal spots. With the sound of gentle waves and mountains rising behind them, Lanru and Gary held a Chinese wedding ceremony that honored their heritage while keeping the moment deeply personal. Sharing vows barefoot in the sand, surrounded by friends and ocean air, made the ceremony feel both grounding and unforgettable.

Afterward, the celebration continued with an epic helicopter tour to a glacier. Flying above Seward’s dramatic coastline and landing among towering ice was the perfect adventure-filled ending to their wedding day. Their Seward elopement was proof that a wedding can be intimate, meaningful, and wildly adventurous all at once.
