Stacy and Diego’s (and their dog Cruz) Utah summer mountain engagement photos session took place in one of my absolute favorite photo locations near my house in Midway! They wanted boho engagement photos and I think that we achieved that in these super cute, summery photos (if anyone is wondering like me, Stacy got her dress from Free People and I was obsessed). Stacy and Diego live in Colorado and they drove over to Utah for these photos over the long 4th of July weekend. They had never been to this part of Utah before so I sent them a list of my favorite things to do in the area and places to camp with their pitbull, Cruz! They’re getting married in Jamaica this fall and I cannot wait to travel there to capture their wedding day 🙂

We met up at this beautiful location called Deer Creek Overlook. I love coming here because it’s dog friendly (Cruz just roamed around when he wasn’t in the photos), not busy, and the temperatures are much cooler here in the summer months (plus it’s an amazing location for fall photos). We had so much fun catching the golden light of the sunset and watching the moon come up and sharing beers in the parking lot afterwards.

I love Utah summer mountain engagement photos and I cannot wait for what else this summer has in store.
